Gussy

Our sweet little girl bunny Gus died last week. Lots of crying going on by both Stu and I. She was six years old. Stu and I bought her in Harlem with her brother Barney, they were my birthday present. Gus was very loving and sweet and had a voracious appetite (just like me). Stu and I always joke that Barney and Gus took on our personalities and started to look like us. Barney being more cautious and serious and Gus more relaxed and always being hungry. We will miss her lots, especially her partner Barney, whom we are showering with lots of love and attention.

I don't know you, but I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I've had rabbits for most of my life, and it's always a terribly sad day when they leave us. Big hugs.

sniff...sniff...so sad. Pets become part of our families and losing them can be so hard. We have a house full and have not had to deal with the loss yet, I dread that day. The joy they bring to our lives, makes these tough moments worth it. Gus was a handsome fellow.

It is very sad when pets die. One of our dogs died 2 weeks ago (My partner had her for 15+ years) and our other dog is lost. So it's a good idea to saturate Barney with lots of love.

Oh that's just so sad that your bunny has passed away. I've had a rabbit too (Melba). They are such fabulous little creatures with such wonderful personalities. My heart goes out to you. Pet Barney for me.
